The Isle's Omniraptor is a fictional animal inspired by the Utahraptor and the ones depicted in popular medias.
In The Isle, the Omniraptor is an agile carnivore, capable of dashing, dodging and leaping with both deadly precision and terrifying speed. It is through this great agility that the Omniraptor is capable of chasing down its prey with ease, as well as employing hit-and-run tactics against larger, slower or less agile creatures.
Omniraptor was added in Patch 0.4.0.06 (Evrima Drop) along with Tenontosaurus.
Utahraptor was renamed to Omniraptor in Update #5.5 (Patch 0.9.91.06).
Main[]
"As the epitome of cunning and ferocity, able to swiftly maneuver at high speeds and pounce upon unsuspecting victims, the Omniraptor has certainly earned its fearsome reputation. Whilst all Omniraptors are inherently dangerous... It's the ones you don't see that are truly clever." [1]
Strong in both solo and group play, the great agility of the Omniraptor is what makes it so dangerous. With high stamina, fast running speed and a very tight turning radius, The Omniraptor is capable of hunting small to almost large sized prey.
Should regular attacks not suffice, the Omniraptor can hold the right mouse button to pounce forwards, latching onto whatever creature it leaps upon and grappling onto them, slashing away. This ability may not provide as much damage as the Omniraptor's bites, but it can leave their victims with serious bleeding. Additionally, while grappling, don't forget to let go before your stamina runs out, or if your target is slowly bucking you off - lest you'll drop motionless and vulnerable to the floor.

Behind The Scenes[]
The Omniraptor and Tenontosaurus are used as mechanic bases for every other creature in the game, adjusting them respectively.
Utahraptor was renamed to Omniraptor so that Utahraptor can be added to Evrima as a standalone realistic depiction of "Utahraptor Ostrommaysi".
Roadmap:[]
Intelligent AI Omniraptors are planned. They have been tested in past Evrima patches, yet they were removed due to issues with the AI and for further polishing.
