(Note: I have never played the isle so I apologize if anything here sounds stupidly OP, I tried to keep the idea as simple as possible)
Daspletosaurus will be primarily an ambush predator, rarely able to use pursuit or endurance hunt anything
Most of its speed comes from ambush, alongside its bone break chance during ambush.
Ambush is readded as a mechanic for evirma for primarily ambush predators
Serves as the apex predator for evirma until larger predators are ready to be added.
Alongside its addition, 2 other Herbivores would be added, parasaurolophus and styracosaurus.
It has decent nightvision
It is a primarily SOLITARY playable, only able to be in packs of 2 with someone the opposite gender as them.
It has decent agility, not as well as a ceratosaurs, but not as bad as a tyrannosaurus in legacy.
Also serves as competition from the upcoming playable gorgosaurus, who might be faster than the daspleto but deal less damage than daspleto.
Daspletos main prey might include any large herbivore like stegosaurus, parasaurolophus, styracosaurus, etc
Daspletosaurs due to being an apex, are cannibalistic, however they usually prefer not to be cannibalistic as they can still get debuffs from doing so
Has a special ability called "thrash" where it can basically pick up smaller creatures like raptors and shake them around dealing loads of damage
Adding onto this they can grab the neck of parasaurolophus and basically have a struggle match between the dasp and the parasaurlophus, where both have to spam their attacks to deal damage/escape.
The dasp spams it's attack to deal more damage to the parasaurolophus, and to keep "thrashing" it in turn for stamina
The parasaurolophus spams it's attack to escape, also in turn of stamina, however it has a higher chance of escaping the dasp's attack due to it just basically being bigger than the dasp
If a dasp uses thrash on another dasp.. one of two things may happen... if a dasp uses it, it will attack its neck and basically have the whole thing similar to the dasp vs Para fight.
If they both use it at the same time, they will basically both counter each other, disabling the ability entirely, similar to pachy and carno charging into each other head first.
